30 g salt
20 g garlic granules
20 g dried thyme
20 g dried basil
15 g dried oregano

Step by Step Instructions
Mix all the ingredients in an airtight glass container and store in dark place for up to three months. Paprika is light sensitive and will fade in colour if not kept in drawer of cupboard.
Use as much or as little cayenne pepper as your taste dictates. This recipe has relatively smaller amount of salt as compared to most traditional cajun seasonings. I personally like to add the salt if needed as I cook.
Seasoning meats, fish and seafood with this gorgeous blend. Sprinkle over vegetables tossed in olive oil and bake. Use this Cajun Seasoning to make a traditional New Orleans Gumbo or Jambalaya.
When using this spice mix or any spices taste as you cook and add more as needed. Start with a small amount and build up to the flavour which you like.
Replace your bland salt and pepper seasoning with the punchy spice mix to transform any dish you are cooking.
